The Headquarters Archery Range on the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources campus, #1 Sportsman's Lane Frankfort, is now open to the public! This new range is complete with 11 shooting lanes and a raised platform to resemble shooting from a tree stand. Three of the lanes are made specifically for handicap accessibility. Target distances vary from 10 to 50 yards. Please check out the KY Shooting Range Maps page for more information about other shooting range opportunities.

HOURS OF OPERATION

The archery range is open from dawn to dusk, Sunday through Saturday. The range will occasionally be closed for educational programs.

Once on Sportsman’s Lane, the archery range is on the right, just past the Arnold Mitchell Building. Parking is available nearby, and public restrooms are available in two locations: next to the picnic shelter and near the lower lake.
