  • June 8 - Fish and Wildlife Commission meets; view agenda
  • June 15 - Last day of spring squirrel season
  • June 20 - First day of summer

  • Channel catfish nest in cavities in submerged rocks and logs

  • Fish for striped bass below Ohio River dams

  • Cumberland River trout feeding on caddis flies
     
  • Smallmouth bass active in streams
     
  • Southeastern Kentucky streams good for redbreast sunfish


  • Blue catfish in deep water; spawn when water temperatures reach 70 degrees
