Hayley Lynch began hunting in 2005 after an unsuccessful stint as a vegetarian. She grew up without guns and now wonders how people survive such lifestyles. A Kentucky native, she received her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Hollins University in Virginia. When she isn’t writing for Kentucky Afield, you can find her in a deer stand or swinging a shotgun on the trap, skeet or sporting clays range.
