Lee McClellan is an avid stream angler, upland game hunter and smallmouth bass enthusiast. A native of Bardstown, Kentucky, McClellan earned a bachelor’s in journalism and history and a Master of Arts degree in history from Eastern Kentucky University. He joined Kentucky Fish and Wildlife in 2000 as an information specialist and is now associate editor of Kentucky Afield magazine. He’s won several state and national awards for writing.
