"RESTORING OUR WILDLIFE

HERITAGE"

Collector Series Print and Patch

Bobcat Print  Kentucky Warbler Print   Elk Print  Turkey Print

THIS PURCHASE IS AN INVESTMENT IN WILDIFE. Each print or patch sold in the Restoring Our Wildlife Heritage collector series goes to benefit Kentucky wildlife through education, management and research.

The Restoring Our Wildlife Heritage program began in 1995 with "Roaming the High Ground", a portrait of a bobcat in remote rugged terrain at dawn. In 1996 "Kentucky Spring Returns" was unveiled. It features a pair of remarkably life-like Kentucky warblers perched on a rotting log in a spring woodland dotted with bright wildflowers.  The 1997 edition in the series,  "Into the Cumberland" draws attention to the largest elk restoration project ever attempted in the eastern United States.  The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation have partnered to return this native species to southeastern Kentucky.

The newest print, "Fall Bachelors", is the final in this series of wildlife collector prints offered for sale by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources through the Restoring Our Wildlife Heritage program.   This painting portrays a group of gobblers in a typical fall setting that signifies the tremendous success of bringing back wild turkey to Kentucky.  This print was co-funded by the Kentucky Chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

These authentic representations are printed on acid-free, 100% rag paper. Each print is limited to 500 copies and each is numbered and signed by the artist. The prints are available only through the Kentucky Afield Gift Shop at the Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort. Each print retails for $125 plus tax.

From each print a corresponding limited edition 100% embroidered patch has been created. The collectible patches are available for $3.25 each, plus tax. Collectors may also purchase these items via pre-paid mail orders. Proceeds from all sales in the Restoring Our Wildlife Heritage program help promote wildlife education and awareness of Kentucky's diverse outdoors.
