Fishing and Hunting Still Open:
Fishing and hunting for 2020 are still open per statewide seasons/regulations.  Licenses and permits to fish and hunt are required as usual.  Boat registrations may be renewed at county clerks offices by mail or drop-box.  Open-air sites such as public lakes/streams and wildlife management areas remain open.

Lost Licenses and Permits

Persons who need a replacement license or permit have three options:

1. Print a replacement online for free through the My Profile application

2. Purchase the same type of license or permit from any license vendor, ask them for a license refund form, fill it out and send it to: KDFWR Licensing, #1 Sportsman’s Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601. You will receive a refund minus a $5 handling fee.

3. Send $5, your name, address, date of birth and Social Security number, and which license(s) or permits you lost to: KDFWR Licensing, #1 Sportsman’s Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601. The department will replace the license/permit once verification of original purchase occurs. Replacement may take up to 3 weeks.
