River Road at Taylorsville Lake WMA Closed due to Flooding

A section of River Road at Taylorsville Lake WMA remains closed due to flooding.

This week (Mar. 3, 2025), staff removed debris and reopened the section of River Rd. from Palmer Road to Mt. Eden Road.

The section of River Rd. from Palmer Rd. to Johnson Branch crossing remains closed due to unsafe road conditions.

A few parking lots are still open: the Palmer Rd parking lot and the lot on the HWY 44 side of River Rd.

Staff are monitoring the situation daily and will reopen all gates once it is safe to do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
