STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Courtney Goodman

Conservation Educator,
Information and Education Division

Goodman works as a conservation educator for the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife’s Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation (R3) outreach program. In her role, Goodman teaches hunter education classes and coordinates with volunteer instructors in over 30 counties. She hosts mentor hunts and performs other R3 educational efforts across the state such as the popular Becoming an Outdoors Woman program.

She is an avid outdoorswoman whose spare time revolves around the seasons. She is as likely to be in a duck blind as a tree stand, on the water, camping or chasing big game somewhere out west.

"Staff Spotlight" introduces you to our employees and their varied expertise, as well as the diversity of jobs, programs, and initiatives of the department.
