​New Bridge construction crossing Cumberland River downstream of Wolf Creek Dam.​

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reconstructing US 127 in Clinton and Russell counties, including a new bridge crossing the Cumberland River approximately 3.4 river miles downstream of Wolf Creek Dam. Click here to view water access on the Lake Cumberland tailwater. This work is being done in the section of the river between the Kendall Ramp and Helms Landing.​

The bridge will involve the construction of two supporting piers within the river, beginning as soon as Dec. 13, 2024. For boater safety, there may be short-term closures to navigational traffic, as indicated by buoys. Area boat ramps will not be affected and will remain o​pen.
