What is Collected and Stored?

  • Name
  • Demographic Information (Address, Residency, Date of Birth/Age)
  • Email Address
  • Phone
  • Race/Ethnicity
  • Limited Medical Information (for youth camps)
  • Social Security Number and/or other government issued identification
  • License and permit data, biological data, harvest data, event management data, analytics/usage data, and other applicable enforcement, program related, or service enhancement information.

Where is the Information Stored?

  • All collected information is stored by the Commonwealth of Kentucky or by a third party under contract/agreement with the agency. Encrypted user authentication information and other web usage statistics may be stored to facilitate access to requested agency applications and to aid in analytical research of website usage.

How is the Data Used?

  • The data will be used for the regulatory compliance and support of agency programs and initiatives. These programs/initiatives are performed internally or by a third party under contract or agreement with the agency. The third party agreement prohibits the use or disclosure of the data outside the limits defined by the agency. The Department prohibits the sale of all collected information.
  • Medical data is shared as needed for medical treatment or in the event of an emergency with first responders or medical professionals.
