Fishing Lakes

The KDFWR lakes are open from dawn until dusk (opens in new tab), are fully stocked, and you may fish free of charge with a valid Kentucky fishing license. Licenses may be purchased online in advance (opens in new tab) or at the Salato Center during normal hours. Children under 16 do not need a license.

Individuals and families may check out a pole and tackle free of charge at the Salato Center; however, we cannot guarantee availability, and bait is not provided. If you have a group of six or more, please contact Easton Copley to arrange for additional poles. All visitors age 16 and over must have a valid Kentucky fishing license (opens in new tab).
