KY STATE FAIR - AUG. 18 - 28

Visit us at the Kentucky State Fair!

Our Booth Location: South Wing (Main Street) of Kentucky Expo Center

Hours: Mon - Fri 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Eastern) with extended hours to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Closes Sunday, Aug. 28 at 6:00 p.m.

  • Buy your fishing or hunting license.
  • Help us keep KENTUCKY WILD - learn more & join.
  • Shoot targets at our indoor air-rifle range
  • Get your questions answered by a Conservation Officer, Biologist, or other staff regarding fish, wildlife, or boating.
  • Check out Law Enforcements's new "Operation Game Theft". See wildlife that has been poached and illegally taken.
  • Spin our prize wheel for a chance to win some gear.
  • ​See how many fish you can identify at our fish display!
  • Want more Wildlife! Stop at the KYFWR Booth and talk to a biologist about ways to improve your property for Wildlife!​

Kentucky Wild Day

 "Ask a Biologist" - Kentucky Wild at the State Fair!

Do you have questions about the work we do for Kentucky's most at-risk species? Be sure to stop by the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife booth located on Main Street in the South Wing of the Expo Center. Between 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., you can meet some of the biologists with the Kentucky Wild Team, and learn more about this year's field projects and Kentucky Wild Member events.

Be sure to check out the membership incentives we have for folks that join Kentucky Wild at the Fair. There will be fun activities for kids and a special gift for each Kentucky Wild member.
