Russell Creek

Russell Creek begins in Northern Russell County just north of Russell Springs and flows west-northwest passing through the city of Columbia and dumping into Green River south of Greensburg. Russell Creek is fairly remote, but does offer a number of public access sites. Access points are considerably far apart making wade fishing more realistic than float fishing. Russell Creek is narrow and is comprised of abundant riffle/run habitat, and provides excellent opportunities to catch smallmouth bass, rock bass, and spotted bass.
